Eliminates particulate matter and excess moisture present in process lines, which clog and damage the sensing membranes of gas concentration measurement instruments.

Features

The device is designed to protect the membranes of the electrochemical sensors. To do this, gas is pumped from the process line (duct or stack) to the gas conditioning equipment, where the mist and particulate matter is retained, the gas is dried to a maximum humidity of 95% and then passed through the sensing membrane, to later return it to the process line.

The equipment has a filter to capture particulate matter and fog present in the gas conduction ducts. In addition, it reduces the dew point of the gas, in order to prevent water condensation on the membrane. The conditioned gas is passed over the membrane and then returned to the process line.

The equipment has been designed for stand-alone operation, not connected to a distributed control system (DCS). It can communicate with the DCS / PCS through a Profibus module (optional).

The equipment has been designed and manufactured to operate 24/7, minor maintenance every six month, main maintenance every five years. The following gases can be measured: H2S, CO, H2, Cl2, HCl, NH3, ClO2, NOX, O3, SO2 and O2.
